There is something about a wedding by the water that just feels timeless. The salty breeze, the way the light hits the waves, the gentle movement of everything around you, it all adds a layer of magic that you can feel in every moment.
This wedding at Duxbury Maritime School captured exactly that. From the quiet morning getting ready to the golden hour just before the ceremony, every detail felt intentional and completely true to the couple. The day was full of candid laughter, tiny glances, and moments that only a documentary approach can truly preserve.
One of my favorite things about filming in a place like Duxbury is how naturally cinematic it feels. The coastal light, the historic buildings, and the sweeping water views all create the perfect backdrop for storytelling. Nothing needs to be forced, everything just unfolds beautifully on its own.

Watching it back, you can feel the breeze, hear the laughter, and experience the day exactly as it happened. It’s a reminder that sometimes the most beautiful weddings are the ones that embrace the location, the people, and the real, in-between moments that make the day uniquely yours.
If you are planning a coastal New England wedding and want your day captured in a way that feels honest, relaxed, and truly cinematic, I would love to document it for you.
